Repair procedures

Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Drive belt System - "Drive belt")

Loosen the alternator upper mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque :
26.5 - 37.3 N·m (2.7 - 3.8 kgf·m, 19.5 - 27.5 lb·ft) [10T Type]
24.3 - 26.9 N·m (2.48 - 2.74 kgf·m, 17.9 - 19.8 lb·ft) [8T Type]

Loosen the adjusting bolt (B).

Remove the alternator bracket (C).
Tightening torque :
24.3 - 26.9 N·m (2.48 - 2.74 kgf·m, 17.9 - 19.8 lb·ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. |
After installing the alternator bracket, adjust the drive belt tension
by tightening adjusting bolt.
