Repair procedures

Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "Drive Belt")

2. |
Remove the idler (A).
Tightening torque :
42.2 - 53.9 N·m (4.3 - 5.5 kgf·m, 31.1 - 39.8 lb·ft)

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Check the idler for grease leak, abnormal rotation and vibration. Replace if
necessary

1. Be sure the vehicle is on level
ground.
2. Start the engine and allow it to
reach normal operating temperature.
3. Turn the engine off and wait for a
few minutes (about 5 minutes) ...
