To defog inside windshield

1. Set the fan speed to the desired position.
2. Select desired temperature.
3. Select the

4. The outside (fresh) air and air conditioning will be selected automatically.
If the air conditioning and/or outside (fresh) air position are not selected automatically, press the corresponding button manually.
To defrost outside windshield

1. Set the fan speed to the highest position.
2. Set the temperature to the highest (HI) position.
3. Select the position.
4. The outside (fresh) air and air conditioning will be selected automatically.
If the air conditioning is not selected automatically, press the corresponding button manually.
WARNING - Windshield heating Do not use the or position during cooling operation in extremely humid weather. The difference between the temperature of the outside air and the windshield could cause the outer surface of the windshield to fog up, causing loss of visibility.
To defog inside windshield 1. Set the fan speed to the desired position. 2. Select desired temperature. 3. Press the defroster button ( ). 4. The outside (fresh) air position will be selected automatically and the air conditioning will turn on according to the detected ambient temperature.
Checking the parking brake Check the stroke of the parking brake by counting the number of “clicks’’ heard while fully applying it from the released position. Also, the parking brake alone should securely hold the vehicle on a fairly steep grade.
1. Open the hood. 2. Remove the headlamp bulb cover by turning it counterclockwise. 3. Disconnect the headlamp bulb socket-connector. 4. Remove the bulb-socket from the headlamp assembly by turning the bulb-socket counterclockwise until the tabs on the bulb-socket align with the slots on the headlamp assembly.
