Repair procedures
Front
1. |
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
|
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).
|
3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle as it may damage the
paint. If brake fluid comes in contact with the paint, wash off
immediately with water.

4. |
Remove the front wheel and tire (A).
Tightening torque:
107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft)
|
Be careful not to damage to the hub bolts when removing the front
wheel and tire.
|

5. |
Remove the brake hose clips (A).
|
6. |
Disconnect the brake hoses by loosening the flare nuts (B).
Tightening torque :
12.7 - 16.7 N·m (1.3 - 1.7 kgf·m, 9.4 - 12.3 lb·ft)

7. |
Disconnect the brake hose bracket (C) by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque :
8.8 - 13.7 N·m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf·m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb·ft)

8. |
Remove the brake hose (A) from the brake caliper by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque :
24.5 - 29.4 N·m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf·m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb·ft)

9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Use a new washers (A) whenever installing.
|
|
10. |
After installation, bleed the brake system.
(Refer to Brake system - "Brake Bleeding Prcoedures")

11. |
Check the spilled brake oil.
|
Rear
1. |
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
|
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).
|
3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle as it may damage the
paint. If brake fluid comes in contact with the paint, wash off
immediately with water.

Remove the rear wheel and tire (A).
Tightening torque:
107.9 - 127.5 N·m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf·m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb·ft)
|
Be careful not to damage to the hub bolts when removing the rear
wheel and tire.

5. |
Remove the brake hose clips (A).
|
6. |
Disconnect the brake hoses by loosening the flare nuts (B).
Tightening torque :
12.7 - 16.7 N·m (1.3 - 1.7 kgf·m, 9.4 - 12.3 lb·ft)

7. |
Remove the brake hose (A) from the brake caliper by loosening the bolt.
Tightening torque :
24.5 - 29.4 N·m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf·m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb·ft)

8. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Use a new washers (A) whenever installing.

9. |
After installation, bleed the brake system.
(Refer to Brake system - "Brake Bleeding Prcoedures")

10. |
Check the spilled brake oil.

Check the brake tubes for cracks, crimps and corrosion.
|
2. |
Check the brake hoses for cracks, damage and fluid leakage.
|
3. |
Check the brake tube flare nuts for damage and fluid leakage.
|
4. |
Check brake hose mounting bracket for crack or deformation.
|
