Removal and Installation |
Front
1. |
Disconnect the battery negative terminal. |
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).

3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.
|
4. |
Remove the front wheel and tire (A).
|
5. |
Remove the brake hose clips (A). |
6. |
Disconnect the brake hoses by loosening the flare nuts (B).
|
7. |
Disconnect the brake hose bracket (C) by loosening the bolt.
|
8. |
Remove the brake hose (A) from the brake caliper by loosening the bolt.
|
9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
10. |
After installation, bleed the brake system. (Refer to Brake system - "Brake Bleeding Prcoedures") |
11. |
Check the spilled brake oil. |
Rear
1. |
Disconnect the battery negative terminal. |
2. |
Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor connector (A).

3. |
Remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe.

Remove the rear wheel and tire (A).
|
5. |
Remove the brake hose clips (A). |
6. |
Disconnect the brake hoses by loosening the flare nuts (B).
|
7. |
Remove the brake hose (A) from the brake caliper by loosening the bolt.
|
8. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
9. |
After installation, bleed the brake system. (Refer to Brake system - "Brake Bleeding Prcoedures") |
10. |
Check the spilled brake oil. |
Inspection |
1. |
Check the brake tubes for cracks, crimps and corrosion. |
2. |
Check the brake hoses for cracks, damage and fluid leakage. |
3. |
Check the brake tube flare nuts for damage and fluid leakage. |
4. |
Check brake hose mounting bracket for crack or deformation. |
